m32/DL32 configuration so DL32 has mains out using ultralink

Doing a band that has their own M32 and DL32.   The DL32 outs are all for in ears and they want to run 2 lines from the M32 FOH to the FOH speakers along side the cat5 cable.   I am set up with Turbo Sound speakers and have been using ultralink for 2 years.  Question is how to set up their DL32 ultralink as the sorce of the FOH speakers rather than the M32 analog outs??

Hi @eajimine

Channels 33-48 on the AES50 bus going to the DL32 correspond to the DL32's ultranet output.

You could just Route: AES50 A/B : source Out 1-8 and 9-16 > Output AES50-A 33-40 and 41-48 (assuming your DL32 is connected to the M32's AES50-A port).

That will mirror everything going to the M32's XLR's on to the DL32's ultranet bus.

Thanks Dave.  So if they are using 15 & 16 as the mains, ultralink would see the signal in 15,16 at the DL32?  Also would the M32 still have an analog signal out at the desk or will the signal only be available on the DL32 ultralink?

Yes.

Both. The analog signal on the M32's XLRs would also be sent to the DL32's Ultranet.

There are many other ways to route signals on the XM32 mixers. It can be quite complicated. Those signals on the Ultranet bus can be re-arranged with a variety of different sources. This way is fairly simple.

If you need something else, feel free to ask.
