Connecting P16-M to S16 Problem

I'm currently trying to set up a P16-M for the MD of a Professional Panto in the UK. I'm using Channels 1 to 16 on the X32 as local inputs for the Radio Mics (9 in total).
The physical inputs of the S16 numbered 1 to 8 are routed to channels 17 to 24 on the X32 via AES50-a.

The problem is that when the P16-M is connected via the S16, the channels on the P16-M replicate the physical inputs of the S16. For example I have keys connected to physical input 1 of the S16. The signal being received at the P16-M shows up on channel 1. Not on channel 13 that I have set in the P16 out page of the routing menu.
The AES50-a page on the routing menu also shows that outputs 33 – 40 and 41 – 48 are being sent to the P16 1 – 8 and P16 9 -16 respectively.

However, if I connect the P16-M directly to the X32 the relevant channels that I have set in the P16 out page of the routing menu For example Keys on channel 13 are correct and the signal is coming through on Channel 13 of the P16-M.

So at the moment to get what we want we have to run 2 cat 5E cables from the X32. One to the S16 and one to the P16-M.

What do I need to do with the S16 the replicate the settings I've set on the P16 out page.

Both the X32 and S16 are using the latest firmware.

Hi John,

The S16 is probably set to mode 4 and should be set to mode 1 for what you want to do. See http://behringerwiki.music-group.com/index.php?title=S16%3A_Configuring_the_S16
