X32 Rack: Using MIDI to mute effects

I'd like to use a MIDI CC or PC to mute/unmute effects on the X32. Can this be done? If so, how?

For example, let's say I'm using internal effects on bus 13, 14, and 15 and using an external effects processor on Aux 3 I/O and Aux 4 I/O. The external effects are insterted on Channel 1 and Channel 2. I'd like to mute these effects in between songs by sending a value of 127 on CC 67 on MIDI channel 3, and then unmute the effects by sending a value of 0.

Edit: Found some info on the XR18 HERE. I'll test it out to see if it's applicable to the X32.

Re: X32 Rack: Using MIDI to mute effects

Thanks, Robert! That got me pointed in the right direction. I did some testing to fill in the details and here's what I found:

On MIDI Channel 2 (0xB1),
CC values 0 - 63 unmute, 64 - 127 mute.
For the Mute Groups, 0 - 63 mute group ON, 64 - 127 mute group OFF

0 Ch 1 ... 31 Ch 32
32 Aux 1 ... 39 Aux 8
40 Fx 1 L
41 Fx 1 R
42 Fx 2 L
43 Fx 2 R
44 Fx 3 L
45 Fx 3 R
46 Fx 4 L
47 Fx 4 R
48 Bus 1 ... 63 Bus 16
64 Matrix 1 ... 69 Matrix 6
70 LR
71 M/C
72 DCA 1 ... 79 DCA 8
80 Mute Group 1 ... 85 Mute Group 6

Looking at the X32 Midi implementation guide, CC 67 on MIDI channel 3 is actually a Pan control Midi message. What you are going to want is probably best done on a mute group and that would be Midi channel 2, CC80-85.

If you have Midi-OX or download it and figure it out you can monitor exactly what Midi messages are sent when you perform certain functions on an X32 and see what works best for you.

Can someone else please confirm this? I tested my X32 Rack with MidiOX and this is what I found. I programmed my midi controller to match this and works, but it is documented differently HERE on Pg. 48.
