X32 scribble strip unreadable

I just had channel 1&2 faders replaced, went to pick it up, turned it on and found ch 2 unreadable. Anyone experience this or know what could causing it/how to fix it? Will upload a picture as soon as I can

When you say unreadable do you mean that it has no light on in the scribble strip? Is channel twos source set to off, that will turn the strip black. Or maybe they messed up the strip itself when replacing the fader. I thought on the X32 that the faders were in blocks of 8.
