MIDI out via USB

In the operation manual, it's stated that Neutron is sending MIDI via USB. Here's what can be read at page 9:

(107) USB PORT – Connects to a computer via standard USB cable. The Neutron
will display in your DAW as a class-compliant USB MIDI device, capable of
sending and receiving MIDI information.

Out of pure curiosity, without being cocky, I wonder what MIDI data Neutron is sending?

Re: MIDI out via USB

In the Neutron Setup Example for Studio System (Page 20) you see that only USB converging on the PC provides MIDI data to and from the Keyboard Controller and the Neutron.

The Neutron sends and receives all MIDI, but may not be creating the MIDI.
I have not yet received my Neutron (three more days?) but have been looking over all the documentation.

For all of this to work I would expect MIDI data to move through all the devices in the Studio System.

But looking at the diagram, I can see that this can complicate the in/out selection within the DAW. Hopefully all devices show clearly in the DAW IO list.
