Relay switching on Blackstar - is there a way?

Hey guys, brand new G System user here. I've been spending a few days looking at the white paper (godsend) and just setting the thing up. I've finally programmed in a few channels and the sound coming out is sweet! I have miles to go but so far so good.
My only but big problem comes in the form of relay switching using the G. I have a Blackstar HT Stage 100 head and a Blackstar cab. The HT 100 has only a single jack slot for pedal switchers along with a 9pin old pc monitor cable. My question is how do I rig up a cable to switch channels? Jack lead didn't work. A y cable (stereo - 2 monos, 2 monos in g SW 1& 2 and stereo end in Blackstar. That didn't work either and I really don't want to be tap dancing so much using the g and the footswitch!

If anyone has any ideas or wisdom they can share it would be hugely appreciated.

Thanks!

Re: Relay switching on Blackstar - is there a way?

I have an HT40, it uses a TRS 1/4" switch and works fine with a trs to trs. Not sure if you mean the 100 has a 1/4" plus the 9 pin or just the 9pin but if it is using a 1/4" jack for what you are trying to do just use a TRS to TRS into 1 of the relay jacks of the GS and fiddle with the relay settings until it does what you want. If it's using the 9pin for the functions you want I got nothin.

Re: Relay switching on Blackstar - is there a way?

There are schematics on the net of which pins on the 9 pin plug are actually used by the Blackstar footswitch. From memory there is only about 4 in use. I cut off the end of 9 pin cable and soldered the relevant wires to 2 trs jacks. The relay switching from the G sys now works fine with my ht 60

Hey saw your post on here about using the G system with the Blackstar amp. So to be clear you cut both ends off the DB9 foot switch connector, then soldered both ends with a TRS 1/4 jack? If so do you know where to find the schematic for which wires to solder? Also, you can't use a TRS 1/4 cable?
