TC Helicon Voice live play electric

I use a Voicelive play electric for vocal harmonies. I use a mic input and both the stereo xlr outputs into a mixer/PA.
I want to feed a signal into the unit from my guitar via an ABY pedal in order for it to work out the harmonies from the chords Im playing ( and possibly be able to use the tuner )...but muted.
I dont want any guitar signal to pass into the mixer/PA via the Voicelive play unit (as I want my guitar sound to be direct from my pedalboard into my amp).
How do I achieve this ?
Thanks in advance.

Re: TC Helicon Voice live play electric

Hi

Try plugging a dummy lead or just a plug into the Thru Socket at the Back of the Play Electric.

This will allow the PLay electric to Listen to the Gtr Input for harmonies etc, but not process the signal for any effects etc.
