There should be NO release triggering of notes in poly-chain mode.

In poly-chain mode, notes should be independent, like multiple keys on a piano, or multiple voices on a poly synth like an OB-Xa.

The Model D does "release triggering" in certain cases and there appears to be no way to shut release triggering off completely. Even though firmware 1.06 changed some things with release triggering, the behavior of poly-chained release-triggering was apparently not addressed.

Play a two note chord on poly-chained Model D's.

Release the lower note, the higher note gets re-triggered.

Do it again, release the higher note, the lower note does NOT get re-triggered.

This happens regardless of key priority setting (Low/High/Last), which makes no sense.

It becomes a greater mess with three model D's when playing a 3 note chord and repeatedly lifting/sounding the middle note. How would someone predict which note would re-trigger on a release? Why would ANY note retrigger on another note's release?

Whether this is considered a bug fix or a feature request, release triggering makes no sense in poly-chain mode. Think of what a piano would do, and please mimic that behavior.

Also, a public beta would be very much appreciated.
