step pitch shifting - sequenced whammy effect

Hi, I have been scrolling through the forum for ages and cannot find an answer so I am really hoping someone can help me.
Can we achieve a step pitch shifting - sequenced whammy effect with my g system?
Example: The guitar sound in Muse's song Map of the Problematic. Basically the sounds shifts from octave down to standard to octave up within the note (sequence of 16).
I understand I can setup the sequence on an external MIDI device and have the G System activate this device/sound but I am not keen on adding any more external devices to my setup.

Thank you

Re: step pitch shifting - sequenced whammy effect

I would try setting the pitch control to the end points and then adjusting the pedal parameters to get a big step in the middle plus the two ends.
