Newbie Question on mixer app buttons with mysterious purpose

Screenshot 2019-12-06 at 19.02.53.png

In the picture are 4 "ON" buttons for each strip. They do something, but I have no idea what. Anyone know?

Hi Mike, welcome to the community.

Those four buttons are enables to send the channel to Buses 3, 4, 5 and 6. These Buses must have been set as Sub Groups. With other types of signal tap, these boxes are replaced by level indicators/controls - as the two above for Buses 1 & 2.

I seem to recall you get those if you load an XR12 or XR16 scene file into an XR18.  I've seen this before while trying to help someone out with a setup problem.
