FCA1616 - ADA8000 X2222FX mixer - Cubase 7LE Latency problem

Hi everyone, we have bought an FC1616 and an ADA8000 to multitrack recording our performances.
But we have problem in connecting the mixer and the FC1616.

Entering first in the FCA1616 and ADA8000 (optical connected) and then in the mixer (connecting the outputs of the FCA and ADA8000 to the mixer)
everything works but with a huge latency on the signal out of the mixer

The drummer is unable to play. So much lag

Entering first in the mixer and then in the FCA1616, we have found a connection that works ( we use the insert exits for each channel) but this way we loose the slider on the mixer.

Do you have any suggestion on how to connect our setup or we have to change the mixer with another one with direct outputs for each channel?

When you want direct monitoring, you have to go through the mixer, or use the single monitoring mix of the FCA1616.
There is no other way.
Routing through a computer will always give you some delay. You can reduce it with smaller buffer settings. But this will rise the risk of dropouts.
