MR18 With no input signal

Contributor - Level 1
Hi All

I am new to this forum so forgive me if I repeat a question.

I have an MR18 that is connected to a wireless router and controlled via I Pad. I have used this set up several times with no issues. Today I set everything up preping for an event this weekend. I plugged a mic into channel one and started to set the gain structure and It show no input. I replaced the mic line with a new one then tried a different mic. No Luck. So i tried my trusty I Phone with music playing put it to channel 1 and 2. Nothing So I tried that into 17 and 18 Line in and bang works just fine also the I pad controls the faders no problem.

Has anyone else ran into this issue and if so some suggestions please on how to fix this problem...

Thanks
Mike

Hi Mike, welcome to the forum!

Sorry to hear you are experiencing difficulties with your mixer. Have you tried initializing your mixer to a fresh new default scene and see if that helps?

Additionally have you also performed a hard reset of your MR18 yet to see if that corrects the problem? The hard reset can be done by using a paperclip (or tiny poker) to press the tiny reset button on the front of the mixer (in the REMOTE section) for 15 seconds. Doing so will clear out your mixer's current scene (so save if it's important) and also your network settings so you will have to reconfigure those again after performing the reset. (reset will not delete any of your saved SNAPSHOTS)

If neither of those lets you see your input signals then I would suggest you contact CARE technical support for further assistance. You can reach CARE by phone at 702-800-8290 (US) or +44 1562 732290 (UK) or send us an email to CARECREA@musictribe.com and one of our technical CARE specialists will be glad to assist you.

Hope this helps!

Hi Michael

I have tried the reset. Still no change... I have called the number you provided and left a message in the general mailbox...

Thanks

Hi Mike,

While you are waiting for a response from CARE, why don't you upload one of your snapshot/scene files so that we can have a look and verify if it isn't a setting/routing issue. Here are the instructions
