Osculator - X32.

How do i format Messages in Osculator to talk to my x32.
Midi is demuxed
Event type is OSC message.
Target osc.udp://192.168.0.77:10023

I copied and pasted the argument from livetoolbox which i know works for instance
/ch/08/config/color ,i 1

i have tried a load of different variations like

/ch/08/config/color ,i 1
/ch/08/config/color, ,i 1 - direct copy and pasted
Do i need

I have tried to rewrite the address as well.

I have no experience so i cant understand any of the terms in the manual

I am only using the demo for the moment until i know i can get it working it is supposed to be fully functional.
I also cannot get OSCshark to register any osc messages on port 10023 but i know they are working as testing livetool box is making changes no problem

Hello,

I propose you to use X32_Command

Type in as a command-line entry: X32_Command -i 192.168.0.77

Your X32 will connect to the tool.

Type in the entry: xremote on

And you'll be able to send any command you want and be updated of all commands the X32 sends out.

Re: Osculator - X32.

Hey Nick, I'm wondering if the Osculator uses the other OSC command format, such as used by the scenes and snippets. You could try the following:
/ch/08/config/color 1
or
/ch/08/config/color RD

Re: Osculator - X32.

it looks to be an issue with port 10023 somehow. i cant get my osc sniffer to pick up any messages from osculator on that port but i can read messages send on other ports.

Re: Osculator - X32.

User error.. the target was correct. there is a a section called rewrite address that is where you put the code you want triggered them you place the argument (value) in the box below
