UMC1820 + ADA8200 + Windows 7 64 bit

Contributor - Level 1
Hello!

I have a ADA8200 connected to an UMC1820 to expand to 16 channels.
It is connected with 2 toslink cable. Wordclock is set to ADAT on the ADA8200.

I can see all channels in the UMC Control Panel but in the Windows soundsettings I can see only Line In 1-2 to 7-8 + SPDIV In 9-10 and Main Out 1-2 + Line Out to 9-10 + SPDIF Out 11-12.
Same problem in Adobe Audition 1.5, I can't see the aditional chanels of the ADA8200.

Im using the UMC-Driver version 4.38.0 from the Behringer downloads.

What can I do to use the aditional channels?

Hi Wolfgang,

Welcome to the forum. What you are seeing is the Windows drivers which are limited to 4 channel pairs (8 total). To get more channels you have to use the ASIO drivers that come with the 4.38 drivers. Unfortunately Adobe Audition 1.5 is a very old version that IIRC is not ASIO compatible. Try using Reaper

Hi Paul,

thank you for pointing to Reaper! It works like charm.
