Audio Interface Connection

Hi, I need some instruction of how to connect myBehringer UMC204HD to my Yamaha keyboard and to my PC. I need to send a song to my PC and at the same time I need to add a vocal live track.

I am using W10 and also I have Cubase 5 in my PC.

Thx,

If you want to record the keyboard and microphone at the same time, you'll need to hook the mic to input 1 and the keyboard to input 2 (or vice versa). Set Track 1 in Cubase to input 1 and Track 2 to input 2.

Re: Audio Interface Connection

Thank you Dave, but the problem with this setup is that you will hear keyboard from left speaker and vocal from right speaker or vice vesa.

If you set both tracks to mono, you should be able to pan them anywhere in the stereo field upon playback. I think the Stereo/Mono button allows to monitor both inputs in both ears, yet allow each input to record to it's own track.
