Perform-VG - Harmony turns on by itself

Contributor - Level 3
Hi!
My Perform-VG turns on the Harmony feature automatically when I sing louder, and although it often happens when I sing a bit louder in the chorus of a song I need to be able to control this myself. If it's a feature it's pretty cool, but I can't find any documentation about it. How do I turn it off? Or is it a bug?

Thanks!

Hi

First thing I would check is that the Mic is set properly.
Only set it to MP75 or MP76 if you have these mics, if you were to set a dynamic mic as an mp75/76 then this could make the VG think that a button has been pressed on the MIC.

When I set the MIC Gain of TC Gear using the devices inbuild auto Level Routines, After it has done this I then manual lower the level of the MIC and or GTR Gain by -4db, to give some room for that time when your playing that bit louder.

Auto gain, and manual adjustment on page 4 of the manual

Hope that helps

I think it was the mic control that was on, turning it off (48V + chorus) seems to have solved the problem! Smiley Happy
