EddieRos did this fix the issue for you? edit: I had to manually change the driver of the Neutron to 'USB Audio Device' for it to pick up, simply uninstalling in device manager only led to windows reinstalling the wrong one.
Yes please I'd love an update for either or both if it helps me connect the app. Is there a way to patch the synth to play only on Midi input instead of droning forever (the coninuous LFO at play) Except for the synth not connecting I'm absolutely blown away at this device. I'm looking forward to learning how to use it better thanks behringer <3 edit: I have a mac too, on the mac it connects to the Neutron App fine so the issue is Windows Drivers or the Firmware not having some property that windows' USB requires. I only have Ableton on Windows so the Neutron working for Mac is useless to me. I neglected to 'remove the midi cable when updating firmware' I'll try flash firmware to 2.0 again without the cable being plugged in. It seems that while the Firewire to USB cable is plugged in, the front Midi Input on the Neutron doesn't work even if the Neutron isn't connected to anything on the linked PC. getting soooo amped waiting on TroyRavelo for now I'll have to be content with making generative patches and recording Audio out, I cannot input any MIDI data edit 2: updating to firmware 2.0.0 with the midi plugged out and various reboots of desktop and the device didn't make a difference. edit 3: fix found on another thread: " So, finally got it showing up correctly under the Device Manager, 'Software devices' s and is also showing up under the 'Sound, video and Game controllers', so I can at least control it over USB with my DAWs etc. It was previously showing up as a Universal Serial Controller. I manually updated the driver and chose 'USB Audio Device'." ------ TL; DR Windows Default Driver incorrectly lists Neutron under a category that isn't used for Midi Devices Ableton and Neutron picks mine up now I'm in love with this synth
