Paddy Fitz;159704 wrote: So I've just bought a pair of Behringer Studio 50USB monitor speakers from a second hand seller on eBay. Unfortunately in my idiocy, I didn't translate the entire description from German and have only discovered upon opening the box that the connector cable to join the two speakers together is missing from the item... ...Any help would be massively appreciated! Hi Paddy, welcome to the forum! I'd personally suggest that you return the Studio50USB Monitors back to the seller and ask for your money back, as I do believe the product cable you are asking about is indeed proprietary to our product specifically and you won't be able to use the second monitor without it. If that's not an option for you then it would probably be a good idea to take CARE's advice and follow up with the service center's they suggested to you. Just because they didn't reply to you yet doesn't necessarily mean they don't have what you're looking for, so it might be a good idea to give them a call just to be sure. You can also try ordering a part through this section of our website. Hope that helps!

Michael Huisman;158963 wrote: I called the only Support option listed in The Netherlands and they nothing about this issue, or how to repair it yet. Furthermore, they require MusicTribe to authorize DOA replacement, or the fix, FIRST, which is not what's in your instructions They seemed to think that if MusicTribe wanted to send me a new one (so I can stop guessing whether or not the transformer is good), or to tell them how to fix and what it entails, including having parts on-hand, that's up to Behringer/Music Tribe. As was mentioned, if you need further assistance then please contact our CARE support team for additional help. You can reach us by phone at 702-800-8290 (US) or +44 1562 732290 (UK) or send us an email to CARECREA@musictribe.com and one of our technical CARE specialists will be glad to assist you with getting this corrected for you. Michael Huisman;158963 wrote: Is there any danger to using these affected X32s while you guys sort out how to resolve? Transformer issues... what exactly is wrong and what's the risk to use in the interim? Many thanks! Besides the high pitched noise coming from the unit, I'd expect it behave as any other X32 Rack would. (just with the added noise coming from the unit) So you shouldn't have any problems using it in the meantime until you are able to have your unit corrected by one of our authorized service centers. Hope that helps!

Steven Henson;158886 wrote: Both my Pitch Bend Wheel and Mod Wheel are translucent in color including the textured edge. All of the images and videos I have seen online of other users' DEEPMIND 12 have a dark colored textured edge with the rest of the wheel being translucent. Why is mine different? Thank you. All DeepMind12 models you see with black on the pitch/mod wheels are older stock. About six months after release, a few customers started to complain that the black material was rubbing off after lots of use, so it was decided from now on to go with the version wheels your DeepMind12 has. The videos you're viewing with these "older" wheels are probably from right around the time these synths were released (or before) in early 2017. ;)

Holger Klos;158839 wrote: Hi everyone, I had the same issue and solved it by changing the channel of my WiFi router to a channel below 12. I had set it initially to 13 to avoid collisions with other WiFi devices in my neighbourhood. It seems, the DeepMind 12D WiFi unit does not support channels above 11. Cheers, Holger That's a very good point, and it totally makes sense considering the SETUP > NETWORK SETTINGS menu of DeepMind12 only allows channels 1-11 to be selected.

Hi Michal, Perhaps I can offer some additional insight for you... Michal Waloszczyk;158706 wrote: And YES - I tried to calibrate PW but my min and max value can't go over 57 - 99%... That's common, each time I calibrate my pitch wheel it does the same thing, that is maxing out at 99%. (minimum is usually around 1-2%) Michal Waloszczyk;158706 wrote: ...and when I try to CENTER it (by just slightly going up and down like you guys suggested) I got a message that "controller was not moved and changes were not saved". Then perhaps your pitch wheel "center" calibration is off? I know based on your reply that you understand the DeepMind12 calibration procedure, but please try giving this a shot exactly the way I'm outlining it. - Perform another PW calibration onf your synth which as you know is a two step process. Complete the first step by rolling the pitch wheel all the way down to the bottom (minimum) and then roll it all the way up to the very top (maximum) to set the min/max PW values. Press ok to proceed to the next step. - Once at the PW "Center" calibration stage, this is where you calibrate what I refer to as the "dead zone" of your pitch wheel. This is the gap in-between where the +/- pitch bending takes place. Very gently roll the pitch wheel towards the down side until just beyond the point where the spring starts to push back and then roll it back to the center position. Then slowly roll the pitch wheel up and do the exact same thing for the up side. Make sure to only push it ever so gently past where the spring catches. You shouldn't see the same ""controller was not moved and changes were not saved" message as this should be different then your previous calibration setting. Michal Waloszczyk;158706 wrote: Also I can see the min and max values flicker even when I'm not touching anything. So I'm starting to worry the PW in my DM12 is defective... Same thing happens to mine as well, that is unless of course yours bouncing all over the place or acting erratically or jumping all over. Each time I calibrate I see a little bit of play/wiggle happening all on it's own, so that's normal. In addition I'd say there's absolutely no need to go back to an older firmware version as doing so is not going to change/improve anything regarding your synth's pitch wheel. Hope this clears things up for your PW! If not then perhaps it's time to put a call in to CARE for help.

Hi Everyone, Our apologies for not getting back to everyone sooner, but today I did receive word back from my Music Tribe colleagues regarding this issue so I'd like to share some details with everyone here who may have received one of these noisy X32 RACK units. "We Immediately began looking into this after the issue was brought to our attention, and we've determined that a small number of X32 Rack power supplies were manufactured during 2018 using a suspected faulty component, resulting in a high pitched whistling noise when the X32 Rack is powered up. To ensure that future X32 Rack power supplies do not have this issue additional testing has been implemented at the factory before units start shipping again. Any X32 Rack with this specific high pitched whistling noise should be returned to a Behringer Authorized Service Center nearest them for a repair under warranty. Of course, customers can always contact our CARE support team for additional help as needed." Thank you for your patience and cooperation while we work to make this right.
