Dear @BAM and @noiseuk The WING USB interface will provide three MIDI interfaces to the host PC, in order to emulate a MCU plus 2 Extenders for example. So yes, all 24 faders can be used for DAW control in addition to the Custom Controls and the big jog wheel. The exact MIDI implementation is just being defined and will be implemented in the coming months. Best, Jan
Dear X32 fellows, We have just released v4.0, a major update to the X32 series firmware and the EDIT desktop apps.
All updates are online now, webpages are being updated currently, and it may take a little while until it is properly reflected on web server caches. For those who can't wait to check it out here are the download links, and a link to Goetz' fantastic 3:42 minutes of info on youtube
If you prefer the old layout, you may of course keep using fw 3.12 with EDIT apps 3.2. But you will miss the many really cool features like point-to-point routing and remote configuration of Midas' recent DP48 monitoring system etc. etc. See the download links below and have fun as much as we had over the past months creating the new UI. Big kudos to Adam, Andreina, Brunella, Martin, Michael and Thomas for making this possible, and of course to the beta-team for much valued comments!!! Best regards, Jan

Hi everyone, Would you mind checking the latest MX-Q version 1.08 that was released on the Appstore today, please? Current firmware 3.11 is perfectly fine for using MX-Q, even though it even works with older versions. Btw, which mixer models did you use, when the connection failed? Best regards, Jan
Hi @DavidVelez we are just putting a how-to together explaining the debug process on your machine. We'll share that later today.
Would you mind sharing the control panel screen shots (both tabs) with that alert, please?
Dear @RexBeckett and @DavidVelez Thanks for bringing this up. We had received a similar question 4 weeks ago, already. We couldn't reproduce the issue on any of our test machines yet, even though technically very similar. Hence, we had involved the driver vendor, Thesycon, who are very competent and supportive. Having analyzed the two different error messages and log files, they suspected a timing issue on that specific system. We are at it and will inform you, once the root cause is identified. In the mean time you may consider just using another pc for updating the card, since it is a one-time process anyway. Fyi, the new X-USB card firmware update was mainly done for improving consistency of WDM on various systems, for supporting non-ASIO media-player applications. It is no disadvantage using the previous card firmware for ASIO multi-track recording, however.
Hope that helps, Jan
Dear Midas M32/M-AIR and Behringer X32/X-AIR users,
Some of you may have noticed the release of our combined app for all '32 and 'AIR digital mixers, last week. The new iOS app is required, mainly to support personal monitoring control from modern iPhones or iPads as of iOS11 or 12, because some of the previous X32-Q or X-AIR Q apps weren't fully compatible to recent systems any more. The new app is working on devices with iOS9 or higher, and works best with current OS. Consider using the previous apps M32-Q/M-AIR Q/X32-Q /X-AIR-Q when controlling your monitor mix with older devices. Btw, we do have Android equivalents of these latter apps on the Google Play Store, too.
We'd love to hear about your experience with MX-Q. Do you like the new layout? Are you having issues or questions? We'll try to provide answers and help as soon as we can. If you have general inquiries, please also note our Support section with FAQ and KB articles such as this, for 'AIR mixers.
Best regards, Jan
Safe mode can be used for systems that are less than optimized for audio performance. It is adding a little bit of output buffers, increasing the latency for the sake of preventing dropouts.
You may turn off Safe Mode, if you need to achieve minimal round trip latency.
Hi, The driver 4.38 is available here http://downloads.musictribe.com/software/klarkteknik/DN32/KT_DN32-USB_DriverSetup_v4.38.zip Unfortunately, the link on the product page is wrong. We will be fixing this soon, when the new driver version 4.59 will be released, which is in testing currently. Sorry about the inconvenience. Best regards, Jan Jan Duwe Musictribe Brands DE GmbH
Dear Kenneth, Please use the Add, Insert and Delete buttons on the right hand side of the Cues screen for creating or deleting cue list entries, only. It is important that the Cue sequence remains sane. We are aware that there is a possibility to create an invalid first line Cue, by using the tick mark button on top of the first column. This button is only meant for adjusting the index level of the selected Cue. In case that the first line in the Cue list is corrupted or empty, the export will fail. If this happens you may need to close and restart the editor, for correctly updating the list again. We will improve that detail in a later release of the editor. However, you can prevent such problems by creating cues sequentially using the Add or Insert buttons on the right side. Once the Cues are created, you can still adjust the index level to your liking, by using the tick mark button or a right mouse click into the left column. I hope this helps, and I am sorry about the confusion caused. Best regards, Jan
