Okay, I'd also like to see an expression pedal but it must also have the ability to control more than one effect at a time i.e. Delay, Reverb and Distortion or Delay Pitch-shift and Reverb say for instance you are singing Boston's "More Than A Feeling" there is a part in the song where the voice goes stratospheric into an impossible note that was originally done on the guitar, with Digitech's "Vocal 300" I was able to gradually raise vocal up a 5th to reach that note and ride the delay in at the same time, making it sound like just off the record. A phaser would be good I've been trying to get that Robin Trower "Bridge Of Sighs" sound and I am close but no cigar just yet. Also the outputs need looking at more separations so that it can go into the desk easier for instance Vocal (dry) (For the stage monitor) Vocal (FX) (for the front of house possibly in stereo) Guitar (It would be nice to run guitar effects in stereo) Backing track (This would be nice if it were in stereo as well) Metronome (separately on its own channel very useful for the drummer). Also 2 x 4 192 kHz USB recording the ability to record 4 tracks at once either via a DAW or the Thumb-drive The ability to have the Thumb-drive record onto four individual tracks. I have managed to format a 64gb Thumb-Drive to FAT32 and my VL3X accepts it. Most of these things could be done via a software update now. Then of course there is the Blue-Tooth access via a phone and or tablet app this could easily be done with the creation of a adaptor that plugs in similarly to the Hughes Kettner WMI-1 and the Grand-Meister app Grand-Meister guitar heads. Let me know if you want me to be a beta tester for the new pedal when it comes out.
Having Issues I got my VL3X out of its flight case today when I put it away it was working fine now it has developed a fault in that it is not receiving any signal from the mic input. I've tested all my mics and leads and they are working fine I've done a factory reset and still no joy. I plugged into the VoiceSupport 2 and it did an update and still no joy. Any ideas would be appreciated TC Helicon VL3X Firmware version: 2.2.00 Build 366 Manufacture Date: 2015.06.01
