I have the same problem. If you use a standard 1 space tray and attack it somehow, it will actually take up a little more than 1 rack space. I velcro and duct tape it to the top of my DL16, like any true redneck would do. :)

2 out of 3 of my computers have the same issue: I must let the computer boot up completely before powering us the M32 console, if I don't, the computer/sound unit page/ recording software, never sees the M32 as being available, (there at all). Half the time this startup process works, the other half of the time it doesn't. When it doesn't see the driver, the PC system page/Devices, says that it cannot load the DN32 driver because another instance is still running in the background-code 38. (even after powering down the computer) so i have to reinstall the v4.11 driver again. usually TWICE before the computer accepts it. (by the way, One of my computers never has this issue, works EVERY TIME, weird) Does anyone know what is up with this problem. This can be very stressful during a setup for an event, trust me. Thanks, Guy Bugg

I think your first problem is: You want the M32 Console to be the Front of House mixer while the M32R runs all the monitors, wedges and IEMs. Correct? If so, in this setup you can only utilize ONE of the DL32 stage I/O boxes for your inputs. The only thing a second DL32 could provide is extra outputs to the stage. In this setup the M32R A port is connected to the DL32 A port. Then the M32R B port is connected to the line going out to the FOH M32 A port. The M32 console's home input tab should listening to the A inputs. The M32R monitor board should also be listening to the A inputs. It is better to have the M32R have control over the headamp and master sync.,,,,, let the M32 console set it's sync to the A port. You really can't utilize BOTH DL32 inputs at the same time. This system only sees 32 total. Please feel free to ask my an questions or further explain you set up. Thanks, Guy Bugg

I own two X32 Racks, an M32 console and have access to three X32 consoles. I know how to insert an effect directly on a channel BUT the Reverb plugins DO NOT HAVE a "blend" or "mix" control. if you insert them in a channel, the effect mix is a full 100 percent. Why isn't there a "wet/dry" mix control in these reverbs? Please do this on the next upgrade. Thanks! Also, could the card I/O be upgraded so that they can be accessed by the insert selection?

The reason linking channels together is sometimes better than just controlling them with a DCA is that the X32 / M32 only has 8 DCA's. These can be quickly filled up with FX controls. If you could link channels together, then you could take a single DCA, assign it to the Kick drum, all the drums would be linked together, so One DCA could control all the drums, or any other grouping. Linking would be a great feature.

A X32 and M32 obviously has the horsepower to send and receive all 32 channels through the USB port at the same time. ( card out: AES50 A ::: Home in: Card 1-32) So why can we have the direct USB I/O as inserts in the channels. The only way you can do this is with the Aux's and then you are limited to only 6 I/O's. Having Card 1-32 insert selection on the channels would make it a lot more useful when using WAVES Multi Rack. This should be an easy firmware update.

I have a X32, x32 Rack, and a M32 at my disposal. I've noticed that when two channels are linked together, such as a stereo keyboard, you can not rout, let's say, channel 1 (left) to mix bus 1 and then channel 2 (right) to mix bus 2 for a true stereo monitor mix setup. when you bring up either mix bus send in channel 1 or 2 it will bring them both up in the bus mixes. Apparently the mix buses are also linked. Sure would be nice to add a selection to the link options to "unlink" the bus mixes on linked channels. Thanks! :)

First of all, I am the proud owner of a MIdas M32 (worth every penny) and an XRack. (and a Yamaha O1v96 that I have mothballed for the M32!) So, the cat5e cable replacing a huge, heavy and costly analogue snake is the greatest thing since sliced bread, but how about this: Since an X32 mixer or XRack can talk back and forth to an iPad over wifi, what if Behringer / Midas could come up with a system that would let the X32 / M32 mixer "talk" to a XRack on the stage, all on the same type of wifi system? Basically the X32 would just be a controller and since there wouldn't be any "audio" actually being transmitted, just some control data, it shouldn't take up much band width. You have the hardware, you have the wifi, it shouldn't be too hard to make this happen. Think of it, no cat5e cable, no snake at all, just a wifi controler in the shape of a X32. also: PLEASE, make an option for the channel link that would let us "link faders only" or "select what functions to link" when the channels are linked, both faders are at the same level, like it or not, and you can't send, let's say, fader one to aux 1 and fader two to aux two for a true stereo monitor mix. In the linked mode, both faders come up with the same aux sends no matter what you do. Last but not least, how about making a "build your own layer," level, where you pick out the 16 of your "most needed" faders from the 32 that are available and assign them to a "user assignable layer," (like Yamaha does) (sorry!)

It would be really great to have the option in the the Channel Config tab to select the card out and in as an insert. Simply routing the incoming inputs to the card out and then assigning the channel input block to card in IS one way of doing it but it really limits the channel configurations. Maybe Behringer/Midas can make that part of the next software version update???????????

Craig Fowler;38067 wrote: You can set up FX 1-4 as inserts as well. Open the FX page and change the relevant FX processor from "busX" to "insert." Then select the channel/bus you want to insert the FX on, go to the config tab, and tell it which FX processor to use as its insert. Yes, that will work! Still wish they would develop a "card out/in" option for the channel inserts!
