Did an event earlier this week and had a strange issue crop up with my much beloved iP500 unit. Had everything set up and ready to go. Did a final sound check after the system had set for about 30 minutes just to confirm. The volume out of the unit was barely audible. My setup: Mics and gear -> Behringer X-Air 12 mixer -> Input A on the iP500. The "fix" was to go into setup and change the level of Input A. All I did was turn the knob so that it changed by .5dB, then put it back to its original setting. It was like the old thing where you'd have a dirty pot and wiggling the volume knob or fader would fix the issue. Have had this unit for nearly a year and this is the first problem I've had with it. Is there a timeout or sleep mode that is getting activated? Help!
I am attempting to send OSC commands directly via the network using UDP. I have been successful in sending commands to read, but have been unable to send commands that write new values. Can you give me a full OSC command to do the following? (These are simply examples that I will use to expand and work from there.) Here are some commands I have tried that do not work: /ch/02/config/name George Simply returns the current name of that channel /ch/02/mix/fader -20 Hex: 2f 63 68 2f 30 33 2f 6d 69 78 2f 66 61 64 65 72 20 2d 32 30 Simply returns the current value of that fader (0) Since I am sending these directly via UDP, I don't believe I need the Sysex prefix, nor the F7 postfix. Help? Thanks in advance
