Aaron Duerksen;92589 wrote: As for analog outputs from UNET, I've never seen a box that does that. However, Behringer does make some powered speakers that use it. If you use those for floor wedges or FOH, it might solve the bigger picture of what you're asking for. I think there is definitely a market for Ultranet to analog outs...

You somehow need to turn off the WAN port and make it into another LAN port. You do this by turning the router into a bridge... Under Internet, none (bridge mode). Works for me...

Jeff Vandertil;80829 wrote: Good point John. I also set a static IP on my XR18 to ensure that the IP address remains the same every time making reconnecting a breeze. Since it is hardwired to the ethernet port, and not a client on the wifi, I could choose an IP address in the same range, but in the "less than .100" area. Most routers use the xxx.xxx.xxx.100 to 200 space for the wifi devices, leaving the .1 to .99 range available for wired connections. As long as no other wired device is set to the same static address, life is good. Use the settings tab on X-Air app to set this address. It also makes it easier to connect directly with a computer if required after you have set a static address, and remember it. I suggest using the notes app on your cell phone to be your info backup. My experience is that most routers use .2 on for DHCP, which can be changed, most of the time, which I do to start at .100...

I thought that a stereo linked pair of channels, sent out a stereo liked pair of busses stayed truly stereo all the way through. Isn't that what you are looking for?

Sweetwater reps are very knowledgable, but I sold my trusty bfc2000 years ago ... it was too big and clunky for my live set up, and I don't need motorized faders. I settled on an Akai midimix, which can do a Send All to send all current settings to your setup with one button push. Very handy! Out of curiosity, would a bfc2000 readily control FX parameters within the XR12? I know sweetwater is better than most, but, maybe to no fault of their own, they have been unable to answer any of my questions regarding the X-Air mixers. Not sure about FX control from BCF... Sorry, no time for testing... Maybe B* can comment? Michael, Jan?

Cmon guys, at least keep up with the one man band here!

Works great for me! Also it should work with any DAW... Including pro tools (I have used it and it works great there, too!)

Stephen M. Shirley;80239 wrote: Actually, I am glad to see this option. I have the XAir app already installed on my MacBook Air and noticed it, but did not sense its helpfulness. The reason I am glad to see this option is that we are planning a system where we will operate our Shure SCM810 in parallel with the Behringer XR18. When mixing is done on the XR18, all of the mike level controls on the Shure SCM810 are turned to "0". This insures that the Shure SCM810 is not passing any audio. We are using the Direct Output jacks on the back of the Shure SCM810 to pass pre-fader, pre-equalization, ungated mike level audio to the XR18. When mixing is done on the Shure SCM810 (generally 1 mike for a meeting by someone without iPad or MacBook, etc.) I was concerned that the last user of the XR18 might have left some level controls up and the main L/R not muted. With this option, that is not a problem, since on power up the Behringer XR18 will mute all outputs with that option selected. This means that those users who are used to the XAir will have to un-mute the XAir but that is a small task to handle to ensure that "casual" users of the system will have a working system without a problem. BTW I am using a Radio Design Lab Stick On 3 to 1 line level mixer to combine the mono output from the Shure SCM810 and the L & R outputs from the XR18, and then use Radio Design Labs Stick On distribution amps to distribute the combined signal to our sanctuary processing chain, our patio amplifier, (future) subwoofer, our master level meter (also Radio Design Labs) and our digital and cassette recorders. Yeah, I kept trying to tell you about this feature. Mute outputs at power cycle.
