This bug/request is almost 4 years old. It's highly unlikely it will get any attention....much like a Mac editor. The X-Touch Mini is clearly in maintenance mode (i.e. just manufacture a few more every once in a while). The fact that Behringer had no stock in the US from October thru January for the ENTIRE holiday season should tell you how important the X-Touch Mini is to Behringers bottom line. It isn't.

If you're running a cable, here's a stupid easy solution. There are two different kinds: It's not an ideal solution, but it works perfectly. I'm running one 50-75' over CAT5e and you loose a little bit of top end, but that can be fixed easily with EQ. Don't laugh. It works perfectly fine.

As a side note to this discussion of fader log curves: when sending [0.0-1.0] floats to the X-Air, the linear non-log-compensated values (i.e. 0-127 for MIDI, and 0-1023 for VCA) seem to be very accurate. Zero dB on the on the Compact/Mini faders match 0 dB on the X-Air. IOW, the logarithmic level-to-db conversion seems to only be for accurate UI display of values.

Paul Vannatto;124126 wrote: I don't deny there are applications that multiple assigned DCAs can be useful. Yes your example does make sense - if the user is fully aware that the DCA's are setup in that manner. But what happens if for example all DCAs are muted, including the overall DCA. The FOH engineer unmutes the one of the DCA and notices the signals are still not getting to Main LR, and forgets that he has (in essence) 2 layers of DCA mutes? Also signal levels of a particular channel may be affected by multiple DCAs. How they all inter-relate must be fully tested and understood before the live event. I 'm not looking to evangelize anyone, I was just pointing out that it was still possible for those that need it for their particular use, in cases where "multiple assigned DCAs can be useful", as you put it. This would especially apply if you don't use the DCAs for fader control -- you get 4 more mute groups for free.

I'm having to struggle along with XCode 8. Anything that uses .xib files is partially broken...not happy! :( John M I wanted to avoid that nightmare (my spidey sense kicked in) so I built a whole 'nother machine to do XCode 8 development from here on out. The other box is reserved for maintaining old code for 10.9.5 and XCode 5.

If you're still interested, I have this exact setup working with the X-Touch Mini using the bridge app I wrote.
