I would definitely be up for the assembled PCB board as a solution if you go down that route and are willing to ship it to the UK, I can locate my own case then which will also save on the shipping weight. I would be very surprised if you cannot get a sufficient number of people interested in these. My solution at the moment is to take a separate multi effects unit and do a send and return from AUX 5 & 6 and back to channels 15 & 16. Not ideal, but does work. Seems a shame to have such great effects onboard that I can't use.

I bought a cheap Arduino board to do this with if I ever get a round tuit - but I'd send you $30 today if you had one for sale :) . You and me both, even though I am in the UK I would cover the shipping costs and the cost of the item for a one stop solution.

Thank you for your input Dave. Reading through your thread and the other larger thread it seems that this can be accomplished if, you have knowledge of the connection requirements and either the software skills to implement it (or know someone who can/does). Brian, I downloaded the file and had a look through the 2 documents included, for all that it means to me, it might as well have been written in Russian (or is it already?). I was hoping for a plug and play style option, whilst I am a musician I have never had anything to do with MIDI and as far as OSC is concerned had not even heard of it until your post last night. I am more hopeful now that there is a solution out there, as evidenced on the other threads, but need to find a way to put it into effect. I do find it hard to believe that on a reasonably well specified mixer the option for a effects footswitch is not included, not everyone has a FOH technician who is able to switch the effects in or out as required. In fact I would say there are probably many more users of small local style bands (without FOH Techs) who will use this equipment than there are larger bands that do have a FOH solution.

Thank you both for your input. Brian, will research that, and if you did have a MIDI footswitch solution I would definitely be interested in one. John, thanks for your suggestion although it looks like it is only for the Apple IOS, we are all Android I'm afraid so not much use for us.

Hi All, proud owner of an X18 for the last 6 months or so and use it both live and for recording into Cubase. We have an issue where we want to be able to turn off the Delay and Reverb from the mics when talking to the audience. It isn't always convenient to do this manually on the mixer console so was wondering if this can be achieved with a MIDI control, if so, what else would we need to purchase to accomplish this? TIA, Eddie.
