Wow, thanks for that fast answer Paul. Yes, I know that will be very rare to have a dead desk, but in our production we need to be super careful and have plans A, B and C., and yes again seems like I need to copy seems scenes in both desks and if something happens just swap ethernet cabling. Makes sense what are you saying. Thanks again for the info!
Hi all, I was checking the forums trying to find a solution or suggestion to my question, but all the info I found is more in the way to use 2x X32 as a FOH and MON. Well I'm in a broadcast environment and I would like to know if its possible to setup two X32 as a MAIN<->BACKUP, so if one desk dies the other is running and ready to go. By the moment I my setup is : X32 (MAIN) AES50 A<->S32 AES50 A X32 (MAIN) AES50 B<->S16 AES50 A X32 (BACKUP) AES50 A<->S32 AES50 B X32 (BACKUP) AES50 B<->S16 AES50 B The idea is to share the gains, and if at some point the main desk dies continue working with the backup desk.Actually the main desk is working properly but the BACKUP desk is doing weird things with the signals coming in. So my question is; it is possible to do that? or the sync signal will be crazy. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance
