We have been unable to utilize our wifi/iPad with our X32 while our Line6 wireless mics are in use. If we use the ipad via wireless we will get mic signal drops and a "tssst" sound on occasion. We also lose the iPad connectivity as we get closer to the stage. To clarify, we have relocated the wireless receivers to the stage and they at 6 feet up, clean line of sight, and at most 15 meet from the transmitter. We use 5 Line6 mics. The wifi router is of course connected at the sound desk which is 60 feet back. Is there a solution that accommodates both needs? is there something we can do with the wifi/router and frequencies or channels that will clear this issue up? Help...suggestions.....a hammer?
We are currently using an X32 console at our church and our Hearback system has finally kicked it. I am exploring the Powerplay system as the most likely replacement but cannot confirm what we actually need to use this system. We would like to run 6 P16-M units. 1. Do we need the P16-I? or do we run right from the board? I assume that we will need to use the P16-D to power the six units on stage but are there other options? A little insight would be most appreciated.
