I am using DAW - Presonus Studio One 4.6. I have both Windows and Macbook AIR setup. On MacBook when I open Preferences > Audio Setup, I can select VoiceLIVE Rack to record the Voice. VoiceLive Rack is connected to the MacBook via, USB connector. A Condensor Microphone is connected to VL Rack. The I/O is : Phantom ON (that part I am familar with). However on Windows 10 64 BIT OS - as it runs ASIO4ALL drivers. I cannot seem to record voice as seamlessly. Is there drivers I can download to make this happen ? Thanks Subha
I would like to know which recording software I should use that is less CPU intensive. I have 2 laptops. (both running Windows 7 Pro) 1st one is: Dell Latitude D430 Laptop Core Duo 1.2GHz 2GB (RAM) 80GB 2nd one is: DELL LATITUDE E6400 LAPTOP 2.66ghz 160gb SSD HD 4GB I tried using PreSonus Studio One on D430 and after adding 3 tracks the machine becomes unresponsive. I use it mainly for my Roland JV 2080 controller software interface. Will E6400 be able to handle the audio software (DAW) better. My objective is to record multiple tracks from my keyboards, plus voices from VoiceLive Rack. and also be able to take dry vocals and apply VoiceLive Rack settings via, DAW. Suggestions?
